I am wondering how the levels are doing around Texas. Looks like most lakes are in horrible condition still after looking at the link on texas wildlife department website. I will be returning to Texas in about 6-7 months, just trying to get some inside info on lake levels. here is the link i was looking at, some lakes are only 1percent full! crazy. I think most are below 60.

In 6-7 months, the lakes may be over conservation levels or could be lower than today. Texas lakes are known to fill in just a few weeks, if the rains come.

Lake Travis has been known to fill 36' in 12 hours, but I'm not holding my breath for that to happen again.

Yeah I know it can change over night, just curious how it is right now, from the chart on that website it looks insanely low.

OH, yeah some are pretty bad. Some only have one ramp usable. But some others are still in fair shape. If we don't get some rain it will get bad for boaters.

The 1% stuff is flood control resevoirs. Barker resevoir is in Houston, and is strictly for flood control, no lauches or access. I would imagine it sees 1% a lot.
