I got on the water a little before noon. there was a light drizzle,and wind was stronger than the weatherman said it would be. TFF Rowdy and his friends were out there earlier than me and had some fish,the fish were active and so was the wind I did manage to get a few good fish. Rowdy may post pics of his fish,I met NotaNibble and his visiting family at the ramp. It was a good day I did not stay long. I will post pics later.

Mr. Ranking Rowddy and friends may hav witnessed me talking to the fish and a few other things.

Ya I'll put the pics up in a bit.....still laughing over you slapping that striper! All that sweet talking worked...you ended up with as many as three of us that fished twice as long!lol

Well there they are...Pat showed us some spots and we caught some good fish....I showed pat a spot, and he caught dinks. Good trade on my part! Lol Pat is a heck of a nice guy, gave me some of his hand tied jigs....gotta tell ya, that's some super nice looking jigs! Fish liked them too! Pat sure can sweet talk them fish...and that poor striped bass that got slapped for fluffing the feathers on pats jigs! Lol good trip to Pat's pond...(just in-case there's any tree hungers reading, it was a light open-handed slap....the fish was released unharmed)

Nice.. Ima try it out after new year. I'll be off a whole week and Im gonna shoot threw there. What time does the the ramp open, or do you just drive on in?

I got there at 7:00 and the park was open.....ramps are closed but you can launch off the bank

This was when foggy mist started to form clouds fish were biting pretty good about this time.

This was a fast moving front the water was starting to churn pretty good, I decided to leave the fish were pretty active about this time.

This was back at the launc site wit good folks and some good fish them fish in New Orleans right about now.

Nice pic Pat...when you get a chance and where both off, I want you to come fish my pond with me....you know our fish got them big ol' strong lips, from them Springtown boys yanking' on them! Lol
