Not very familiar with San Marcos or San Antonio area, but have heard Choke Canyon can produce whites around the hwy 99 bridge? Feb-April...But will need a boat, I believe...

Canyon Lake can produce Whites up the Guadalupe river, but heard water levels way down...

Lake Travis can produce also, but is also very low right now...And limited public boat ramps...And all the creeks, and areas of the Perdenales River I normally Bank fish are dried-up or very low right now...waaaa
