Are the island still showing on the Mai lake? Was pretty shallow last time I crossed the bridge on 1960.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and the water level was at conservation pool; I think it's gone up a bit since then.

You can stilll see grass on main lake but thats only because its so long. Lake is only about a foot low. Muddy now with all the rain but if you can find clear water fish are biting. South end of the lake is supposedely still pretty clear.

Lake is up now 1.5' above pool, crazy to think just a few months ago it was 7' low. I plan on going out Saturday.

I fished yesterday for 5 hours with 4 fish, it was a grind. Talked to 4 other guys who had the same results as me or even worse. Its tough out there right now.

Call John Littleton, he'll be able to tell you. He's on the club website.
