This morning JediNinja was catching a few good ones inbetween small fish, the fish bit this morning were mostly small and the occasional Hybrid would hit, water was 49 deg. I have no pics today. I enjoyed the weather cold with periods of moderate rain, good fishing trip NotaNibble your family from the N.O. is some real troopers, they adjusted to the weather change from 72deg to 39deg,we gonna have to go again.

No doubt brother! It is always good to get out with you. The family enjoyed meeting and fishing with you...You are now known as the Sac-a-Lait whisperer with the N.O. crew. I think toes, and fingers finally thawed out about midway to the house.

I guess if they would be easy to catch I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. I would like to thank the lake for kicking me around like everyone else.

That's true, no doubt. The bite was slower than usual the 23rd at my Whitney hole, too. Don't tell anyone, but I probably spent as much time playing with the whites as I did crappie fishing. I've been known to backslide and just go for the easy bite when my freezer is this well stocked.

Mr. Baker nothing wrong with that you got out and enjoyed the outdoors, you have all the good fish to yourself i bet the big fish are there too, last year I saw two big cats out there on different occasions. I saw a wildlife manager and ask was my eyes playing tricks he said no they are regular residents they have plenty to eat with all the deer out there they were close to the K B area of the river.
