Just a heads up, my truck was stolen last Saturday in the Acadamy area parking lot. there was another stolen across I35 at TGIF at the same time. Also 2 recently stolen at Home Depot off I35, one at my wifes Dads parking lot (in broad daylight) and 2 others I have heard of this week. My insurance ladY said they are being stolen at a high rate and NOT being recovered.. Just a heads up guys..

My F 250 was stolen at BPS in Garland Feb 10 this year and i was told it was #11 in 24 months. I have done a few things to slow down the next thief's if they try again. I wished someone would catch these punks.

That sucks.

What year was your truck? I had a neighbor get his 04 Dodge dually stolen out of his driveway in HV. The police said that year didn't have the chip in the key.

They arent just punks. From what I here they target ford diesel 4x4/s. A guy I know had his stolen, it was recovered the next day with approx 900 extra miles on it the back seat torn out, and it had been used to run wetbacks accross the border.

+1 Marc Mitchell, they use these trucks to drive loads of weed across rough terrain from Mexico to here along the border. I will guarantee you that 99% of these trucks end up in Mexico to be used for "drive throughs"! If there were no demand for that Sh%*# over here, they wouldn't be doin it.

Stinks that so many thefts are happening, if i spent that much on a truck I would go the extra step to protect it.

I have to say it always surprises me to see how many people leave valuables exposed for everyone to see or even in the bed of the truck easy to take.

Wish we lived in a time where we could do that but the reality is we don't frown

Wow, Dallas drivers are bad enough already. A bunch of them driving high on pot would be wonderful. Well, at least it would make driving more interesting for everyone.

I've had 3 co-workers get their F250 crew cabs stolen. All were eventually recovered after high speed chases in South Texas. They're being used to run drugs and illegals. All had the back seats removed.

2 were stolen from the Target in Kyle, off of IH35 and the 3rd was stolen from the Academy in San Marcos, on IH35. They were all cop's trucks.

I have a GMC 2500HD 4x4 crew cab. I don't take it to shopping centers along IH35. We drive the wife's Saturn. Just FYI.
