I'm new to the area and I wanted to ask where the closest pond/ to fish is? I know Lake Texana isn't terribly far, yet I'm looking for a spot less than thirty minutes away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google Maps is your friend.... wink

The Colorado River has many different species and a few public accesses...

Eagle Lake? Looks possible but don't know about access or fishing there.

Good luck! Enjoy the new year exploring your area!
