Nope I didn't know they were dredging.. I assume they are cleaning out the boat ramp? I'll try to swing by Wednesday and check on the status and call the park to see what's up!

Beating back the edges Update on Lake Somerville December 26, 2011

I got word from the state park superintendent and they have begun clearing out the boat ramp at Birch creek but have been delayed by the rain. Both units of the state park have taken advantage of the low water conditions to clear boat ramps and swimming areas recently. You can see the work done at Nails creek from Google earth satellite view
