Was curious if anyone had been to Hamm Creek Park up North of Whitney. If so how was it. I've really only fished below the Whitney dam and was also curious if anyone had any info concerning fishing in this area of the Brazos. Thanks in advance for any information and Merry Christmas.

I went there about a year ago. Very nice park. I don't remember the hours of operation. Good fishing this time of year for crappie, whites, & catfish. It gets quite a bit of traffic from powerboaters at times.

The boat ramps are closed due to low water. I don't think it's possible to get a power boat that far up river with the low water either. putting a yak in should be no problem though.
