On the water about 10:30 off at 4:30. The day started off with a fish on the second cast, then it was slow for me for 3 hrs. Finally they turned on then they really turned on right before the front got here. Ended up heading to the dock at 3:30 and found birds and then hammered them for over an hour. Total for the day was 6 hybrids & 29 sandies. I kept a few for my parents and released the rest. All fish were caught on 4 inch sassy shad from Moe on 3/4 oz head and slow rolling it 25 to 35 ft of water. Best day I ever had on Hubbard. Here's a couple pictures.

Saw from Keith's note your name is Jeff... Great picts Jeff! Was it not just a gorgeous day out there? I ate lunch and laid back and enjoyed the sun for 30-minutes. That fishing can wear a man out... Wish the whole gang could have been out there. I asked Todd but he had to work.... Happy Fishing. Merry Christmas all....

Well, I was out there too & it tooka while to find 'em, but they finally showed up at RP late in the day. Hundreds of birds working with fish stacked on the screen. Sandies were good size and we lost a couple of hybrids that came unbuttoned at the bost. Water was flat most of the day--unusual for Ray Hubbard.

It was a very nice day just to enjoy the weather and peace & quite. Catching fish was just the icing on the cake...It doesn't get much better than that this time of year. Merry Xmas to you and your family too.

I have got to take the boat to that lake. I just found some pictures of my father and I from when I was 7 with some fat hybrids and sandies. we use to fish from the bank at night or rocks in the evening. Now I have a boat and no excuses.
