I have always heard about this area and have never been there. I would think that it is bad shape right now. When the water was up, was there good fishing here? I'd love to hear some stories about this area.

Rayzor,

We used to go up there Crappie and White bass fishing, done pretty well on the Whites when they run up to Spawn in February. I have never been up there bass fishing though. I would imagine that you probably couldnt get in there right now.

I was there at the beginning of the month and the water definitely had come up since I was last there during the summer. Ended up getting some pics too. As Stickchunker said the crappie and whitebass fishing can be excellent from what I've heard elsewhere. Haven't fished there much myself. When I went for the first time in the summer there were snakes crawling all over the place so I did not stay long lol
