I finally gave up on looking around the main lake for them and decided to try a little bank fishing instead...

found this girl inside a panel box i was working on...

fish were caught anywhere from 3 to 12 feet deep.

This is an immature widow. As it moults the )( will migrate to the bottom side. Oh...BTW........still venomous!!!

Venom more concentrated hurts longer does more nerve damage. Wearing gloves is not for sissies, it's for those that fish with a full set of fingers.

springlizard, the spider wasn't on Lake Waco, I found it inside a breaker box and took a pic of it.

Jsplinter & leanin post, good luck tomorrow, let us know how you do.

Very nice Tomasc! I tried the bridge on the south river last week and got skunked. Had a GREAT time with my grandson though. If I can get my depth finder working this weekend, I may try to wrangle my way up into Hog Creek to see if they have moved up in there yet. Either that or get the kayak out and head up in there.

Good job, we found a few but baro was high and hoping that is what had them shut down. There a few other guys at the bridge that was also having a very slow day. Taking the wife out Friday to see how it goes when there hasn't been a cold front come through the day prior
