Looked at the weather for LOP (Longview Aviation) it stated wednesday NW 4-5 MPH. This was perfect, or I thought. Meet my fishing partners at the coffee shop at 5:00 AM. The flags at the bank across the street standing straight out from the pole. Humm, this is not right, oh well we are 65 miles from LOP. Launched at 7:00 at hurricane. wind does not look that bad. By the time we reached the main lake, white caps. left LOP headed to Caddo by 9:30. Left Caddo with a 3 limits by 2:00. I know "No pictures no fish". LOP has better quality.

We were on LOP wed also. Weatherman missed that one! Wind layed down around noon but the fishing stayed slow for us. Most important thing on fishing LOP is the wind. Few places to get out of it!

Second that on the wind at LOP. Been keeping us off the lower end. Seems every single time dad and I both have a free day, stiff breeze has been on tap or cold rain. But I am not complaining about the wet, we need it!
