Lake was glassed over this afternoon...few birds working mid-lake.

Ended up with 7 fat hybrids and nice mess of whites for the grease..

Caught one pig on pink deadstick..all the rest on silver/chartreuse 1oz slabs worked SLOWLY

Great Job.
Headed out in the morning, what depth and presentation worked the best?

I have been launching at Lake Palestine Resort on 155. $3 for launch. Water came up a few inches after last rain making it a little better (21' center console).

Some guys are still launching at the single ramp on the left at the damn..not sure about The Villages Marina.

At the cleaning table this evening were lots of crappie and one guy had 49 channel cats off of a baited hole. (Regs at Lake Palestine have changed to 50 channel cats/day). They are killing the crappie at 155 bridge and on structure down by the dam.

Cathcing whites/hybirds from 18-22'. Has been a bunch of bird activity to help finding fish/bait. Calm day had them scattered. Have been doing better on the windy days off the major points.

Have been drifting withe MO's fiesta slabs. However, today they wanted a much smaller slab...just creeping it along bottom with a bunch of hits right at boat lifitng it off bottom.

Did catch one dead sticking...about ripped the rod out of my hand..
