Where is the best place to get shad and whats the going rate / near highport marina on Texoma? I assume you need conditioner to kepp bait alive? Can you even find bait this time of year?
They have black salty's also which are good for stripers and Blue catfish. But they are super expensive But when you don't have a bait tank ( or don't have room for one like me --LOL--) you can keep them in a minnow bucket tied on the boat. And when you need to move put the bucket in the live well or something like that
buy the large shiners at The Tackle Box... its a bit past the Highport turn. you cant buy shad, you would have to catch them. Lures are working too, Bait has been better the last couple days. sassy shad and cohos on 1oz heads.
