yahoo maps wants me to go from Rockwall east on 30 to Greeneville, then north through Paris. is that going to take me through small towns with stop lights (kind of like going east on 80). Would it be quicker just going to 75 and then North from there?

When I did Yahoo map directions from Rockwall to McAlestrer, it says go 66 to the Bush, then 75N till it becomes 69N once you get into OK. Hmmmmm... maybe the specific address you put in made it come up a different way, but I think 75 will be your best route.

Hey d, it is quicker to go the I30 route. When you exit off I30 it is still 4lane hwy until you get through Commerce. It Then goes down to 2lane but you only go through 2 small cities with no stop lights until you get to Paris. Be sure and take the bypass at Paris and once you get into Oklahoma take the Indian Nation Turnpike, the posted speed limit on the turnpike is 75 and there is not a lot of traffic either. Be safe.

i went 75 on the way there (big mistake) and then i took 2 out of wilburton, that turned into indian turnpike, then to paris, greeneville, then home, the return trip was much faster!

I got back from Tulsa yesterday. Went 75/69 all the way up there and back. Good trip, only problem was about a 15 minute delay in Atoka, Tushka, or some little town. Took the Indian Nations Turnpike also no problem.
