On the water about 9. Marked lots of bait all over the lake. The wind was picking up so we put out the drift sock and drifted along the trees on the north side. The bite was very light - like a crappie. We missed a lot of fish but managed to catch a few nice ones. Off the water at 2 after a very wet ride back to holiday.

Cool! I wanted to be out there so bad, but I had the kids all day yesterday. I wish I could control the wind. Thats the only reason we called today off......

It really wasn't that cold - just windy.
Matt - I wish you could control the wind. I think if it had stayed around 10mph we would have caught a lot more fish. With a northeast wind we were able to drift along the trees toward the sandbar that sticks way out now.

Fat healthy lake Tawak fish. Good to c u fishing in the wind. Seems like every time a trip is planned and calls r made the wind finds its way into the mix.
