IF you like Trilene Big game, Academy has the BIG Spool on for $4.88. I bought a 2600 Yard spool of 20 Lb. for 4.88. All of them come in a box and are One lb, not the 1/4 they normally sell for 6 bucks or so.

Victoria still had some the other day. I believe it was mostly 8 and 10 lb test. I have bought 4 spools so far. It is on the top shelf in the line section.

The Academy in Lewisville still had quite a few of the 1/4lb spools for $4.00 as of Dec 17th.

If I ever see this I will own at least 20 rolls.

I was in a store recently that still had them in 10,20,30 and 40

Don't you guys wonder why they are on sell so cheap ? Think about it.

My guess is academy is closing out the big spools.

Nothing wrong with Big Game line - good price and has various #test and performs well too.

+1 in my book (and wallet)!
