What is the best use of calf manna?

Is it best used alone, or part of a mix?

Will the anise scent drown out other attractants like scopex, cherry, or the like?

I like it in my tea...

I have used it alone, with some hog wild powder/flavor, and as part of a mix, and have caught with all of them.
Sometimes adding molasses or liquid buck jam, hog wild, etc. helps it to hold together better as a method mix so that it will reach the bottom before breaking down.

I've used it with oats, breadcrumb and alone in pva. I had several very fast runs occur when using it in pva.

I know you can use it as straight method. 4 cups calf manna and one cup of water.

I use it in my methode.

3 parts quick oats
2 parts cracked corn
1 part calf mana
capsaicin (red pepper, habanero, etc)
salt
Cream corn as the wetter.

I think anise will compliment other flavors well, but it would depend on portions. It does so in human food.
