Headed out a little late this morning with a buddy of mine and new Member of TFF to do some fishing. Got on the water at about 10am and started off looking for some green trash fish. Got blanked at our first couple of spots and then I caught a 2lber off the rocks near Chandlers. Went looking for some action in deeper water around the park. Found birds and lots of bait but couldn't catch anything but snags. Found more bait in 28ft near 3rd Buoy but no bites. Went back to bass fishing on the North Side of 30 and Randy landed a little 2lber of his own. Air and water both were starting to heat up a little so we decided to go look for some hybrids. Checked Yankee Creek...NO LUCK...Rush Creek Humps...NO LUCK...Mystery Hump...NO LUCK...Gravel Pit...NO LUCK. At this point I realized that I didnt have the first clue where to find Hybrids in the winter so we picked up and started heading toward the damn for some more Green Trash Fishing and ran into Sea Pro Todd who said they had been catching. A few more boats showed up and we fished with Sea Pro Todd, Terry and Ray, Luv To Fish, and Yaffe. Right at the start I hooked into a 3-4lb Hybrid that I let swim back in forth beside to boat while I tried to get my net and he got tired of playing along and shook off. Kept trying caught a few Yellows and White and then finally Randy boated our first Hybrid of the day that went 5-9. Kept working with the rest of the guys but I just couldnt get anything but Yellows on. We were all just about to leave and saw a Full Squadron of Birds dive bombing just north of where we were fishing so we went to have a look. On my first cast I landed a 5-15 Hybrid and then a little one on the very next cast that was 2 to 3lbs. Ended the day with a fat little sandy and headed home for a fish fry. Sorry for the Book length report but I figured I had a couple of months of no reporting to make up for. Water temp 49-52 degrees. Hyrbids caught from 35ft to 24ft all on Slow Rolled Sassy Shads both in 3in and 4in. and FINALLY HERE ARE SOME PICS!!

Rap I had said to Todd yesterday that I hadn't been on the Forum much lately but noticed you and Action jackson were missing in action! I couldn't help myself with that pun. But for real great seeing everyone. We have a "fraternity" and yesterday was like a frat fishing party.... Good report....
