Where do you start? Everyone must have been nice this year because Santa brought some early Christmas cheer today! A lot of the crew was out today. Ruben and I went with Todd and saw a lot of buddies on the lake today. Was a beautiful day and a lot of Hybies were caught. Plus a lot of magnum sandies caught also. Then Todd provided egg rolls to everyone... I don't think it gets any better than this. It was for sure a be patient day with the dead sticking. But wanted to mention this. Just got done cleaning the fish at Harbor Bay. All the shad in them were 1 to 1-1/2 inches long. I broke my own rule and didn't down size until later in the day from a tip from Mike (Luv To Fish). Anyway will downsize next time for sure. Off to a party. What a day. Everyone was blessed.... Happy Fishing. BTW- Lot of action was down by the dam.

Wow we had a nice turn out yesterday at the deadstick pardy! I counted 8 TFFers who came out to play and it sure felt like a summer in December!! Saw everyone catching and and some serious Hammering going on, litterally and figuratively hehehe!! Yep the fish Gods were with us yesterday! We all musta be living right!! Amen!

Todd this was one perfect day. Was telling everyone about it at the party last night and they couldn't believe that we were catching fish in December... Told them we are all "Fish Whisperers!" Boy did we "speak" to the fish yesterday! Lord knows, and He did, that I needed a day out there like that. Got a nice bag of fish to cook for the family over Christmas. No summer fish for them these will be fresh! Thanks for a great day and for taking Ruben and I out... Happy Fishing.

Same here Yaffe! Really had a great time out there. Even JV said "Frank I didn't see you there on Todd's boat." I, for the first time in my life, was being quiet and just taking it all in. Yesterday is a good example of why I moved to Texas 32-years ago....
