So before I went to my families place I went into town and decided to try my luck at trout. Not a clue what to do or how to fish for em. Just went to town. Figured wally world would have something so I asked the fella at the counter "hey anybody come in here fishin for trout" "yea" "what they buy to catch em with" "them gulp corn thangies" So I had my bait and my two zebcos and off I went to Holland Park. Had a guy walk up to me and tell me " u gonna have better luck if ya take that cork off that there line" "ok thanks man". I didnt think there was any reason to tell him it was my first time after that. So I took the cork off and what do ya know....

If ya want to have some fun tie a small fly (black gnat, cap spider, anything small and wet) behind a casting float. I fished a small city park pond in Longview a few years ago and caught bunches. I got off at 4:30 am and wasn't no one else around. Had a ball doing that.

Some of the best eating are Rainbow's and Brookies that come straight from a Colorado Creek up in the mountains!
