Just got back from 2 days at Falcon with James Niggemeyer.
I would say that the reports out there regarding Falcon are accurate- by Falcon standards it's spotty. We managed to piece together a couple of decent trips. Find rock- fish aren't really in brush- deep diving cranks (Sexy Shad

) worked best- followed by Biffle Hard Head dragging real slow over rock. We caught a couple 7+lb'ers each day.
Really I had read the reports and wasn't expecting to slay them, so I was happy. The reason I am even making this post is because I wanted to share how great James is. First off the obvious- it's a dream come true for me to spend time and fish with a B.A.S.S. pro, so for me this makes it worth it right off the bat. He knows his stuff and you will be learning all day long from James.
The bonus is what a genuine, nice person James is. He is a real credit to the sport and I am lucky to have met him and call him a friend. I have met a lot of great guides over the years and the best ones all are the kind of people you want to spend long days on the water with, not just because they are great guides, but because they are great people. James is just such a person.
Y'all have a great holiday season.
