Stay on the east side of the lake (Dam is on east side) and fish around rocks. I like a square bill crank bait, carolina rigged worm in green pumpkin and booyah jigs with paca chunk jr in green pumpkin. Depth depends on the day, but I've had best luck recently in 10' - 12'. Put in at Katy Woods and you'll be close to fish.

start around 8' deep and work your way to deeper water till you start getting bit ...best depths lately for me have been 10-15'...drop shots, c-rigs, t-rigs, square bills and traps...using a 4' trick worm on the drop shot and crig natural colors work best

Square bills in 10-15' of water? You puttin' those on a c-rig maybe? smile Just kidding with everyone. The advice above should definitely give you a good starting point.

Lots of big blue cats come out of Grapevine as well as buffalo.
Can't tell what you're after with your post...

I was out there on Saturday, mostly to run the boat and take my wife and daughter out for a little while. Drop shot 3" Gulp shad off of main lake points got a mixed bag of LMB and Whites. I found a few fish suspending between 12 and 22 feet in 30-35 feet of water. Not sure about the shallow bite. I was mainly there showing my 2-1/2 year old daughter how to reel in a rubber fish on her Snoopy Pole. She had fun with that, and with the playground at Meadowmere Park.
