This was last Sunday, 2 boats headed to the honey hole.
One professional, Master John, and 1 regular, me, plus 2 rookies (Ben and Beth)
M. John and Ben was on one boat. Ms. Beth and I was on another. We were having a blast, especially seeing the looks on Beth and Ben. I was too confident thinking that I will catch a lot more than needed for the count. Releasing anything under 11.5 has been the normal practice lately.
Getting to the point.... John and Ben limited out with a nice 50. Beth and I staggered at a measely 35 (and we thought all along we had more...hehehe). We had so much fun with all 4 catching fish that we overlooked one part, taking photos. It didn't take long before Ben & Beth were in the strike zone impressively. Beth cleaned her 35 the next day, but it was all iced up by the time we thought about taking any photo. Meanwhile, Ben cleaned his that evening so he managed to take some photos for the bragging rights, and rightly so. Here are the 3 photos I received from Ben...
Here is one of two limit from M. John and Ben

Here is the other limit (two of two)

Here is one among 8 by both parties that we are all pretty proud of

(notice: Ben is well protected with thick glove while cleaning the catch...watta rookie...heheheh..just j/k Ben)
All in all, Ben and M. John out done Beth and I by far...and by looking at the photos from Ben, their catches aren't small by any measure. Thanks M. John, Beth, and Ben...I couldn't have asked for a better day on the water with all 3 of you. Beth and I have lots of room for improvement, including a must-have photo of a bright smile on Beth's face, next time! Look on the bright side, I started out learning from M. John, and after 16yrs, I am still learning from my master... Thanks M. John!
