What are yalls thoughts......6000 size mainly for big blue cats ,occasional flathead and occasional trip to coast for surf fishing......... I hear mixed reviews on Penn's lower end stuff.....

Not a big fan of Penns after owning a couple of ss and ssg models. Stick with whats proven. Shimano. Symetre, Spheros, or Stradics.

Think i'm going with Pflueger President XT.......

dont know about the 6000 but i have a sargus 3000 and over a year of hard abuse Zero problems or complaints, i do wish i would of went with the battle thow for just a little more money itsa lot better reel
