After 5 years of buying Denatured alcohol for the burner, thanks to a suggestion from Redman I finally tried the Isopropyl or "rubbing alcohol" for the burner.... Instead of $6.00 per pint, its down to $1.00 per.. from the dollar store..

Where did you get the Burner? I've always used one of those long nose lighters, but would rather try the burner.

Roger, let me know how the iso burns in the burner. I have researched a bit... seem to come across this a bit:
Usually sold in 70% and 91% (or sometimes even 99%) concentrations by volume, neither is a very good stove fuel. The 70% concentration, in fact, hardly burns at all, while the 90%+ concentrations will generally work, but with a sooty flame .

The iso flame looked good..I dont know if it was just late night painting or if it was the alcohol, but it seemed to burn quite a bit hotter that the denatured..I had a couple heads looked a little burned, not from soot, but looked like the paint was burned.
