I have always heard how good Pines can be but never tried it before for crappie.Have they got into the main river channel?I have 2 days of vac. Left before the end of year figured i would give it a try.

We caught fish Friday in 19-26ft of water fishing the south end near the dam. We just used jigs and slow trolled the ledges and picked up 50. I'll be there again in a couple of days on a trip if the weather holds.

wednesday trip -
put in a overlook.
only had 9 other boat out today.
5 hours trip.
started fihing just down from Hurricane creek.
wind - 10-15 SE
water-temp 50-53
fish holding in 23 to 30 feet over brush.
lot of bait fish in the area.
fish double jig rig with 3/8 oz bell weight on bottom.
top jig black/charteus, bottom jig pink/white.
