Read an article in the local news paper today that said L.C.R.A. is going ahead with their contract to release water from Buchanan on an every other day schedule to provide water supplies for home use only in the development of Windermere Oaks. Levels are currently at 988' compared to 1018' at full pool. This new release would allow for levels to be dropped to 958' and still be "safe" according to L.C.R.A for damn discharge. We need some rain down here folks, especially those poor folks on Buchanan.

I read the same article. Makes you want to puke. Basically the LCRA said they have no prblem releasing water down to 958'. I was on Buchanan Sunday and couldn't believe how low it is.

I live on Buchanan and after being here for 20 years this is the worst I've seen it. Guess I'll have to move downstream to a constant level lake or be content to have river front property. L.O.L.
