Well after more than 2 1/2 years unemployed and over 500 job apps - finally getting somewhere. After two interviews and a couple of tests I got phone call today that I am on recommended for hire list for January for a different position at the same company that laid me off. I was in shop rebuilding oilfeild wireline trucks but that died out and they are gonna remodel the shop into an oilfeild tool lab and I'll be oilfeild tool mechanical tech with a chance to learn the electronics side.....so supposed to hire in January but job may not start till remodel is finished..........hopefully not jinxing myself by posting this!!  Yall keep yo fingers and toes crossed for me!!!
