What's the name of the Chicken place? I'm big boned too.
As Griff said, it's Rudys. It's not the same as the BBQ place named Rudys. It's in Oak Cliff on Lancaster Rd. I have their number locked in my cell phone for four reasons:
#1 because i'm big boned #2 they have the best chicken hands down #3 they usually have a line around the corner and calling ahead prevents me from waiting in that long line #4 because i'm big boned
Yup, y'all need to stay away from T. Dub if y'all are looking to lose weight. I gained 10 pounds fishing with him last winter. We'd stop at the donut shop and clear 'em out on the way to the lake then hit up a fried chicken joint on the way home. Then I would take a 3 hour nap when I got home. LOL!
That's odd... I ain't the one that always asked if we were stopping by the donut shop on the way up... Don't blame that 10lbs on me. Blame it on the 4 sausage buscuits you would eat before we got out of the parking lot!

Um My Granny used to live in Oak Cliff and did until she died. Wonder why I never knew this? I used to go to Hendersons to get Chicken when we went to the car auction every week in Grand Prairie. I'm gonna have to go visit well because I am big boned .

As far as why this is your first time hearing of it, well I can't answer that, but the mere fact alone that a typically Crappie fishing forum has turned in to a Fried Chicken forum should be enough of a reason to go. It's right across from Wendy's on Lancaster Rd, about 2 miles north of the VA Hospital. PM me when you go... Let me know what u think
