Caught about 50 sandies and yellow bass dead sticking in 26 ft on the ridges and points today. Finesse rod, small 3/4 oz BPS chrome tungsten jigging spoon. One lm bass to 6 lbs. hold the jig about 4-6 inches off the bottom. lift it about a foot and then drop it back down slowly. one report of crappie north of the 154 bridge at 32 ft in the trees, one crank off the bottom on minnows. drifted some with a troll-tech crappie rig and LFT baby shad. nada. surface temp at 52 degrees. One crappie fisherman said the surface temps need to fall further for them to really begin to stack up in deeper water. Regards, Bart
