I went down today for a bit. The bite was real soft and few and far between. I did end up catching a nice 13 incher. It's about time I lost that skunk that's been following me down there.

I stopped by there today, no one else was out. The water is pretty high, can't see most of the tree stumps any more. Tried for a little bit, but no fish.

my hope is that the weather stays mild and damp. if that happens, it should be on like kong when britton park opens on march 1st! crappie and blue cat chasing the bait fish into the creek........sounds like my kinda livin'!

went today for a few hrs and caught 4 keeper male crappie in about 8 in of water right up on the bank and 7 sand bass on jig and bobber. bg black and chart jigs wont be long will post pics later.
