I took out Thomas and Helen today for some crappie fishing on Lake Livingston.
They said they were new to crappie fishing, but it not take long for them to be swinging slabs over the side of the boat with ultralight spinning rigs and jigs.
Helen was on top of her game and pulled big crappie out of the same hole all morning, 13 to 14" fish.
Thomas went on streaks of catching big fish. Even the big fish of the day, a 15+" white crappie.
The two were crappie professionals by the time we left.
Both are very good anglers and a pleasure to fish with.



We stopped at 1:00PM and they had 43 very good fish in the box. The box had a lot of good size crappie over 14" in it.

I went back with a friend today and we caught 33 nice crappie.
