I have a toilet flange that broke. I will need to cut it from the inside of the pipe to remove it. I went to get another flange and all I can find are 3 1/2 OD. My pipe sticking out from the slab is 3 1/4 OD and about 2 7/8 or 3 ID. And since I am cutting the old one out, I need a longer flange to reach the pipe in the slab when I cut it off. Any plumbers have a line on where to get this flange? I have been to Lowes, Home Depot and Ace Hardware with no luck.

Get a flat brass flange adaptor from home depot etc, it just screws to the floor or slab

I have tile floor around the toilet. Will a masonry bit drill tile without breaking it? What type fasteners would be required to screw to tile/slab?

get the type I posted above, use a nail and small hammer to "mark" your holes in the tile. do not use a hammer drill to go thru the tile, drill the tile holes then go to hammer drill if you have one.
get some of this type of fastener to attach to the floor and your in business.

make sure you have the tapcon drill bit in the box or buy one a regular bit won't work.

Well I cheated a little. Got a flange repair kit. Steel half rings that bolt to both sides of the "ears" where the hold down screws for the toilet go through the flange. Tightened them tight to the flange and reset the toilet. Good to go. Had to elongate the holes some to get the hold down screws in the right place. I will tell on myself. Had to pull it again after I had it set the first time. Left the rag in the pipe that was keeping stuff out of the pipe. Had to get the rag out. frown

I've done this a couple times...

Taken a p-trap loose under a sink,only to reach
up and pour the water in the p-trap back in the sink-with p-trap in hand

So don't feel bad. lol
