I know this is a fishing forum but it can't all be about fishing...right? What are some of y'alls other hobbies?

I'm a super dork and like all kinds of things. I'm always picking up new pursuits. A lot I give up after a couple tries but some stick. I kayak religiously, I brew beer and vint wine. I target practice and even occasionally (here comes the super dork thing) metal detect.

Hunt arrowheads and try to farm a little. I am a pretty bad farmer so far but really enjoy it. Driving the tractor pulling a plow is relaxing.

Webdesign , Cooking , graphics designs (Thinking of starting custom hand art based logos /webdesign service pretty soon ).

Do you sell them wine/beer that you brew ?

Golfing is about the only other hobby I have, but haven't done much recently.

martial arts for almost 7 years now. currently in tae kwon do.

Nature photography, which works out pretty well while fishing.

My wife and I love to work in the shop doing wood working. We actually started our family 13 years ago doing art shows 4-5 times a year for a living. As a step dad I have to do alot of differnet things to get my very smart son through college and we rely on this to help doing art shows and so forth. We use to do Round Top twice a year and a couple more high end shows. Now that it isn't a necessity we do it for xtra money. Our company is "Lost Cow Studio and Design". We'll have a web site up soon to get ready for a retirement plan that doesn't count on the government for pay back of the thousands that has already been paid in. When Web site gets up and running and I get ready and able to slow down I'll start pushing the site. Until then, Keep Fishing!!!!!!

Mine are HAM radio, welding up yard art (wife tells me what and where to weld 'caus I have NO artistic ability...she does)....:)

I play blues harmonica, and bass guitar. Also workout nearly every day (except Saturday- that's fishin' day).

I like to fly aerobatic aircraft, go up and do some outside loops, followed by flat spins (with smoke):

as for "other" hobbies, well not many.
I collect vintage fishing lures & reels. that's about it.

I collect antique fishing lures.

Hunting everything and cooking. and being a Dad.

I love to fish, but it hasn't been my number one hobby for several years now. Cycling is. I average 140 miles a week on a bicycle, including riding to work most days on this one:

I used to be heavy into football cards but last year was my last year of really buying them. I would 100 bucks a box and feel empty after getting bad cards.

Nothing..I can't afford my fishing problem as it is. My wife says I need a FA program instead of AA. I used to be a 7 handicap golfer but gave it up after shoulder surgery.

Surprised it took this long to get here, but deer hunting, getting into tasting different beers.

Woodworking. Used to play golf but found it was the easiest thing to give up!

Classic cars.....Classic boats.....from the 50's Fishing is a collective sport for me too....72 rods/35 tackle boxes...all being used thru-out the year. But most importantly of all,,taking care of my wife. She's the reason for the season.

huntin' fishin' kayaking, woodworking, gardening, beekeeping, hiking, camping, archery, birding, fixin' stuff, figuring out how I'm gonna pay for my daughters college education, and helping out non-profit organizations and my church as much as I can. and a little farming a couple of weeks a year while my farmer friend goes hunting..

I build Go-kart racing engines for kids ages 5 to 15 racing on dirt tracks, Then started pistol target shooting which led to reloading. Going to have some things to do after retirement in a couple of years.

Fishing is my hobby...everything else just feels like work. Theres my job, school, fixing small things on my car, and working around the house....

Wish I had time for another hobby. Other than work and it ain't raining on the weekend I am at the lake. Just keeping my lake property up is a part time job.

I may look into RC planes

I have a collection of rock and roll mostly 60s and 70s - over 1350 albums on vinyl(and I'm still collecting) - I also play golf - Harmonicas - and have a HAM radio station and mess around with what HAMs call HOMEBREW antennas and mobile HF stations and broadcast audio gear. Most everything takes a back seat to my fishing though.

Being mobility impaired my other hobbies don't require much walking either. Photography, knife collecting, antique camera collection, and my downfall magazine collecting, I cannot bear to toss out a magazine.

Saltwater Fishing-Fishin' Inshore before the term was coined- Sports Fan- Rockets,Texans- Guitar-Jammin'for over 21 years(Dime was my HERO)-Camping- Beachcombing- Lots-o-lures to be found with this low water.

Bird hunting

My other addiction is music. I DJ a little and am currently refraining from feeding my vinyl addiction. I have the two turntables, a nice mixer, and about a thousand records. I have also spent countless hours writing music on digital audio workstations. I've even sold a few tunes for video sound-beds. No real money, but someone actually used my stuff for a commercial or a PSA.

I used to draw a little, and have a decent, natural skill to it.

I had a sideline in real estate through the 90's. I go to list a house, in the library there is EVERY Heinlein book in hardback, a cast signed poster from "Damnation Alley" and a miniature ship from "Starship Troopers". This stuff really blew me away.

I asked the lady of the house about her collection, She said it wasn't too hard as Heinlein was her father!

This is my other hobby.

I just started collecting older fishing lures. Heddon, Fred Arbogast, and many others. I like reading about them and the history of the lures.

I train my dogs and preform with them. Star the Brittany has been on several TV shows plus commericals. She and I travel the USA giving seminars and showing off with silly pet tricks. I compete at the Highest Level of AKC an USDAA agility with my rescue Border Collie Lucille. she also preform fresbees tricks. My Maggie another rescue border collie does Herding and rounds up the cow at my farm

I teach dog stuff at the local college, an do private lesson/
