I'm working in Port A for the month of December and would like to know where to fish for specks, reds or whatever. I don't have a boat and my tackle is what I use for specks and reds wade fishing in the spring and summer near Galveston. Anything you can tell me will help, I'm clueless. Thanks

I hear people are tearing up the slot reds on the bay side of the island near fish pass.

Sheepshead should be all over the jetties now.

Catch some flounder and trout in the boat entrance to the marina area at times.

Also go long with live shrimp and a lemon rig and fish the nd of the south jetty...long hike, but can really be worth it on the right day.
