Man that looks like fun. Those pics are all nice but that bottom pic is really good. I need to finally take up fly fishing I finally bought a fly rod to learn the new art of fly fishi ng and became an instant addict. I'm sure I would be holarious to see with my greenhorn style but first time to the Blue River caught several trout and was the lone fisherman to pull out a spotted bass on the fly. All the 'pro's' around me were surprised and jealous (and extremely nice and willing to teach the novice a thing or too....) Nice snaps Neumie, thanks for sharing.

A video from this weekend. Apparently, I say "There we go" every time I hook up. http://youtu.be/EItcLnRLXlA

My buddy and I were fishing right across the bridge from you guys - I was the dude in the black truck talking to y'all about not leaving fish to find fish and asking how y'all liked that Ascend boat. Anyway, everytime I heard 'there we go' I knew I didn't have the right fly on! Thanks for the zebra midge tip. At the end of the day, we did okay on a white bugger, as well. Like you were saying earlier, the trout aren't huge out there, but man, that place is beautiful. The weather kept the crowd down, too - it was a great day to be out there.

Hey man, glad to see you're on here. I never realized I said "there we go" that often until I saw the footage, I'm going to have to work on that.
I had started day tossing a white adams fly since they were rising pretty good, but they wanted nothing to do with that. I've had good luck in the past with the olive zebra midge and it was the ticket again on Sunday. My friend Todd caught a few on a prince nymph as well.
Conditions like Sunday are my favorite days to hit the Brazos during the winter. Y'all make it out there often? I may be making a return trip this weekend if I get my Christmas shopping finished.

Video turned out good. I'll post mine when ever I get time to edit. I think that was the best spot on the river. People kept inching up toward us and as soon as I started walking off a guy asked if I was finished. Then he jumpd into my spot. Bassplastic-Nice to meet you. Glad ya'll ended up doing ok
