Going to Winstar this weekend and seeing how casino food isn't usually to great I thought I'd get opinions on a restaurant near Gainesville to hit on the way up. Thanks

Try the Ranchhouse on 82 east,good catfish& buffet.

Winstar buffet isn't that bad actually. The catfish place out front is pretty good as well.

You could go to Smokehouse in Lindsey for some good bbq,west on 82.

Try toby keith's at winstar,good chicken fried steak and salad.

Went to Ranchhouse/Catfish Louie's and was surprised at what we got for the money. We had the catfish and would recommend to anyone. Thanks

Taco Casa in Gainsville

I realize that lots of places can be hit or miss but the one time I ate at the Winstar buffet ... it was THAT bad.

go 82 west to the town of lindsey. go to dieter brothers restaraunt. once you go once you will go every trip up there. its only about 4 miles from 35.

Their prices are fair too. A lot cheaper than what you pay in the Metromess, with great food.

there is a little place off of 51 just southwest of town called the "Woolf Den", owned by Woolf family(I think). They have great homestyle food.
