Reading this forum the past few years, aside from the information provided and helpfulness of the participants and good humor, one thing stands out clearly. That is a profound belief in the Almighty. With so much negative reporting by the media and the endless mess we see on TV every day, it's refreshing to have communication with people who feel and share the common good God has provided. God's blessings to all.

Well said Ken. I think we as anglers get a keen sense of God's creativity when we witness the beauty of nature out on the water. And his power when you gotta ride back across that lake in 5ft. swells! I know I do.

Ken, I have gleaned much the same from this forum. I want to add, like I heard this morning concerning Tim Tebo, I don't think GOD really cares who wins or looses a football game, but I do believe that ANY ability, strength or good fortune Mr. Tebo has, he received from GOD. Likewise, I'm not placing myself even in the same universe as Tim Tebo when it comes to talents and abilities and I don't think GOD cares if I catch a crappie or not. I do believe though, GOD has blessed my finances so that I could afford a fine vessel to fish out of and time & strength and a measure of ability, to use persuing my hobby. When I don't catch fish, GOD didn't with hold HIS blessing from me, I just didn't effectively use what HE has blessed me with.

yes it is. i always loved the outdoors and catching fish, shooting ducks or bagging a deer has always been a supplied bonus from above. i like your post and hope this continues. thanks gene www.genestacklesupply.com also, at our house we celebrate c.h.r.i.s.t.m.a.s. and plan on continuing to do so as long as we live.

Ken, the Lords gona put you where you need to be, It's our job to say Yes Father and be prepared. I pray every night He makes me a better Father and Son.
