I'd give it a shot for 20 bucks! I've got a different model okuma that hasn't had many problems, but I dont use it much because its a hoss.

I have a bigger convector reel but mine has no pawl you have to use your finger to level the line an retails at academy for 175 i have had no problems with mine an its goin on 3 years now an i love it

That's a pretty good looking reel, it would be worth giving it a shot I think, I wouldn't mind trying one of those myself!!!

I've got 3 from cabelas that are similar, except with line counters. Work great for cats on a PAT. Got them for 20 a pop not long ago. Good ratio on them, which is the drawback on a lot of reels that size (usually lower..)

No acedemy has them here in the metroplex. Only Houston, they will not do any transfers in the month of December..
