Ted, PBD's and method chunking is way to dangerous! Don't want to see anyone get hurt out there.Protective safety gear should be mandatory.

Nick, same situation here, but I'm going on year 8 of my build.My {censored} has been kicked so hard I think I may die before finishing. Must refrain from busting buff but it's so difficult when Ted and gang are catching 50's.

My biggest this fall is 46. I did catch a 50.8 in January though.

I'll be out there Saturday when the gate opens, Friday if they don't lock the gate and stay til 10a.m. Monday morning. It might be my first carp of 2012 if I don't blank.

If y'all are doing Electric Sites, can one of you set up a tent for me in an adjacent site Friday if it looks like they will fill up? I'm also game to share/split a site with anyone if they save me one electrical outlet (all night, to stay warm).

The U sites are $25 per day. For someone to front that cash is asking a lot, since they have to pay for thier site as well.

That being said, I am sure that if you meet with one of the Austin guys and give him the $$, he would be happy to help.

I know that you may want to get your site by thursday. Waiting until Friday is scary because sites fill up fast.

Burn ban is still in effect BTW.

I don't think I can make it Saturday, Don. I think I'll probably come Friday afternoon and hang out for a little bit.

in winter the park is empty, shouldnt have a problem getting sites on a friday, just getting the one you want might be. 3 and 11 are popular with rv's

Yeah, those are the toughest ones to get. They seem to be the best fishing as well..lol

I guess the bottom line is I don't plan of fishing for 48-72 hrs straight without some source of heat, either by electric or fire.

The earlist I can get there is Saturday 1a.m. if the gate is open or later if it's not. I work 2nd shift M-F

I can't see spending the extra $50 for the Electric Site Thur and Fri if I'm not going to even be there, ya know. I might not make this one either.

I was thinking to make this one but got tournament on same day damn .

This last weekend they only had 2 open sites, hopefully we will be there early enough on Fri to snag the ones we want, we will have to see. But either way, I seriously doubt I will go if they don't lift the burn ban between now and then.
