Well it's been awhile since I've been on Big T....Here ya go :

Came out of Highport about 9am or so...parking was good...guess no one wanted to fish today...Headed West to my favorite area...3 cast nice 21" fish...few more..23" and so on and so on....pulled 20 fish there...
Look up and some birds are working...head over...pulled 15 or more there...all overs 22" to 25"....
Look around for some more birds...Well they were working several areas...just had to pick.
Picked a good mess thats for sure...about every cast I was pulling 20" plus fish for 2 hours...
A couple of guys were fishing same area with a double jig rig...pretty small jigs at that..
They were not catching from what I could see...I pulled up gave them a few lures and a few cast later...they were hooking up also...

Total for the day was 50 plus fish...I called it quits as my thumbs and arms were just worn out...

Off the water about 2 pm....and left them biting! The birds were working at the mouth of Highport!

Let me tell you...I've fished Texoma for 6 years and this was one of my best days ever!
No monsters today meaning 30" plus fish...But I didn't have one under today! My thumbs are bleeding from today....I post a few pics of thumbs later...no pics of fish as it was raining most of the day and IPhones don't react to water that good.

Lure of choice today: 6" Storm Wildeye...Pearl white or chart....cast out...count down 10 to get past the smaller fish...med speed retrieve...Thump! Fish On!

Me ,well i was at a christmas party last night so I took the weekend off...holed up in my warm dry living room most of the day !!
