1st trip to Tawakoni - big success!

Chad, Scott, Dustin and I took a trip with Gary Moats yesterday. We told him we were more interested in trophy blues than box fish and he delivered. I got a 30, Scott got a 30 and Chad got a 57! We also brought home about 30 pounds of filets from the "little" guys. All four of us were greenhorns, both to blues and Tawakoni, but it won't be the last trip. Gary is a great guide - he put us on fish and kept the action moving. When we weren't cathing, we were laughing. Water was a little choppy and we got a little rain on occasion, but we had a great time. If you want to catch big blues and have a lot of fun, you might want to consider booking a trip with Gary. We're definitely interested in going on the shallow water trip around Feb. Don't know if we'll make if before then.
