After doing a lot of research on different guides for Sabine Lake, I chose to book a trip with Capt. Adam Jaynes. In discussing the trip he recommended that we fish Calcasieu over Sabine. It turned out to be probably the best fishing trip my father and I have ever been on. We limited out on trout within an hour and a half up to 5.5lbs! My dad then asked if we could catch some redfish also, Capt. Adam said "we can do that!" He wasn't kidding one bit, he put us on school after school of nothing but redfish until we ran out of room to put them! I would highly recommend booking Capt. Adam, he was very knowledgable and a pleasure to fish with! Thank you for the great day on the water.

Since we were on Calcasieu the limit on trout is 15 per person so we were able to keep 45. The limit on reds is 5 per person.
