Spoke to the young man at the marina this morning and he told me that today was his last day and that everyone had been laid off but 1 to keep the operation open for new hours, 7-4. I noticed several large orange blocks to 1 side of the ramp and asked about them. He said the company had decided to close the entire operation and block off the ramp but decided to hold off. The fact is, if the inlet becomes impassable, there's no reason for the marina to remain open. So, let's pray we get the 2-4 inchs of rain they're forecasting from this system tonight thru Monday. That's still not enough but it'll certainly help.
