Anybody know anyone that works on reels near or around Tyler? My dad lives near Lindale and has a few he needs fixed. The old place he took them to went out of business and he can't find anybody. But he doesn't get online to look for a new place, he just asks me to find out. So let me know if yall know of anybody.

I haven't been by there to verify but I was told someone opened Robert's back up under a different name. Im pretty close so I may run by there after work and take a look.

If you can pick them up for your dad, Southwest Parts & Service is an authorized service center for a bunch of brands and they do a jam up job. You can bring in in or ship to them. Here is their link. http://southwesternparts.com/

Yeah, that was Robert's Reel Repair but Robert retired. That's the shop I think has reopened under a different name. I didn't make it by there Friday to verify. Maybe Monday.

TackleSmith has repaired a couple of reels for me and did a good job. I mailed them to him but the turn around was fast. Good Guy.

I'll look into these suggestions, thanks for the help. I'm thinking that the place my dad went to is the one near the meat market, Robert's Reel repair.
