Has anyone ever used the Bomber Badonk-A-Donk Saltwater grade baits for whites and stripers and if so how did the baits perform and any particular color?

Thanks in advance.

Tony

Thanks Chris for your reply. I am only fishing from the bank and need something with a little weight to it to cast far. I looked at the spooks but they seem a little light. Thanks again.

Mirror makes a good and heavy but successful "top dawg junior" in numerous colors and all have built in rattles. Have caught tons of hybrids with it and mag sandies.

Chug Bug

PB Hybrid. 26". CPR. 9/28/11. Too big to fit in the 28 quart cooler in the back of my kayak.

I haven't fished stripers for a while, but I like Pencil Poppers and Peacock Bass Special. One can cast them a looooong way. The is also good for trout and reds in the bay. capt david

I like the Pencil Popper, salt water Chug Bug, and the glow 1/2 oz and 3/8 oz. Coho for top water stripers. The 1/2 oz. Coho also works well for sandies and hybrids.

For Stripers: Pencil Popper, Storm Salt Water Chug, Zara Super Spook
For Whites: Medium to small Chug, Heddon Torpedo
And my favorite for either, Large chug, 12" leader, then a trailer small chug. nine times out of the ten they will hit the trailer smaller chug but have had many double hookups.
Not easy to cast, lots of hooks but fun when it works.
