Was going to but I just didn't want to make that drive.

I forgot it is about 45 min to 1 hour longer drive from where you are. It only takes me right at 1 hour from Plano. So that would be a two hour deal. Oh well at least you got to get your boat out and run it.

It's about 1hr 45mins to Highport from my house. I thinking about going in the morning. It depends on the wind and rain. The winds for today were suppose to be less than 10mph. I can tell you they were well above that this morning on Hubbard.

This is the time of year when you get to sleep in a little later then hit the lake. Hubbard can be tough right now, and with the low water that can change some things.
I worked today in at 6.30am and off at 7.00pm and that is not THE END.

I hear ya Champion...I'm debating whether to give Hubbard another try tomorrow or drive north to Texoma or east to Tawakoni. Depends on the weather.

The gas station that is right at the turn going to Highport is open very early and will have Texoma licenses. You can also go online to Texas Parks and Wildlife and purchase your Texoma license there. That's what I do and it's easy!

Highely recommended. You can print out and use your reciept from the online purchase as your license until TP&W mails it to you. That is very fast also.
