When you remove the lid from most 5 gallon buckets the seal is a rubber tube like the vaccumn hose, Use that its cheaper

Don't think you need them, I use 3-6 oz pyramids and discs in the river for gar, line will wear above the sinker from being pulled over stuff but haven't seen the knot itself worn.
